  28. Short description : Comprehensive archive conversion from any type to
  29.                     any other type

  31. Description       : MTA can be used both by normal users and Sysop's  to
  32.                     convert  any  archive  format  to  any other archive
  33.                     format.  Included  is  support  for ARC, PAK, PKware
  34.                     PKPAK, PKWare ZIP, ZOO,  DWC, MD, LHarc, LArc,  ARJ,
  35.                     HYPER and any alien  compressor by means of  a user-
  36.                     interface. Also  conversion (test)  of GIF  and JPEG
  37.                     files is included.

  39.                     Many  features  (AV'd  files,  encryption,   special
  40.                     diskette conversion,  unattended conversion  on BBS,
  41.                     can   be   run   inside   event,   timed  execution,
  42.                     disk-space  checks,  configurable  log-style  and so
  43.                     on).  Also  a  number  of  available  exits  in  the
  44.                     conversion  phase,  so  users  can do special things
  45.                     (CRC, checking,  adding, deleting,  make SFX)  while
  46.                     converting nor- mal files.

  48. Updates           : 15.40 is  a minor that will include some new options
  49.                     and some  fixes. Also  Proboard  1.xx support is now
  50.                     included;
